My mom contacted Air Force Heating and Air on Thursday, August 21st to inquire about repairs on the home’s central air conditioning unit. Friday, August 22nd, Technician Ben was dispatched to diagnose the issue and complete the repair. The technician stated that the air conditioner’s motor needed to be replaced. Sounded easy.
Friday evening, after the installation of the new motor, the air conditioner stopped working again. My mom contacted the office again concerning the air conditioning unit, referencing the earlier repair. Technician David was dispatched on Saturday, August 23rd to diagnose the problem.
After analyzing the unit’s contents and diagnosing the problems, Technician David stated that he could bring and install window units on Sunday, Aug 24th, while waiting on the parts to complete a second repair. A verbal agreement was reached confirming that David would return on Sunday morning between 8 and 10am to install window units.
Technician David did not show at the agreed time on Sunday, August 24th, for the window unit installations and neither the Air Force Heating and Air office staff nor the technician contacted my mom for any explanation or update.
My mother called the company office at approximately 11:30 to inquire about the window units and was informed that there were no window units available in their warehouse and a technician would be dispatched to the home on Monday, August 25th after window units could be secured.
The weather in the area ranged from 85-87 degrees between Friday August 22nd and Sunday August 24th making it unreasonably warm in the home. Due to the heat, the residents were forced to leave the home and stay in a hotel room for comfort until the unit could be repaired.
Upon speaking with my mother about the issue, I called Air Force Heating and Air to ask for pictures or documentation of the issues warranting a second repair. I received an invoice documenting the problems and the suggested repairs. Per Technician David’s assessment and as documented on the invoice dated August 23rd, his diagnosis stated the following:
“the set screw was on the bottom of the system… two bolts holding up the motor had broken… fan blade bent in multiple places… copper had been sliced into by the fan blade… need to replace the fan blade, motor and copper then refill the system.”
It is due to the poor motor installation on Friday Aug 22nd and no show/lack of timely communication from Air Force Heating and Air on Sunday, August 24th that she had to use a different company for repair of the air conditioning unit. This string of events has eroded trust and confidence in the quality of service and professionalism of Air Force Heating and Air.
We emailed the company on August 24th outlining these issues and requesting a refund of the more $762 non-repair as well as the inconvenient hotel cost and were promised a call back to rectify the situation. We’ve contacted the company several times since. Today is September 15th and still no response.
I believe that anyone who experienced the scenario above would agree that
Aug 24th to September 15th is more than enough time to expect a business that advertises 24 hour availability to respond to a customer concerning a repair that went awry. It is unfortunate that I can absolutely not recommend Air Force Heating and Air for emergent HVAC needs.

Brant and Ron were incredible. They were determined to see me up and running despite a difficult situation complicated by parts availability, weather, and vender issues. They were always on time, friendly and kept me informed from start to finish. I’ll never call anyone else in the future....

The installers were polite and very quick; it only took about 4 hours from them pulling into my driveway to pulling out.
Very satisfied and highly recommend

This week, we contacted Air Force. Austin was the Technician dispatched for our ticket. Austin represented his company well! He was on time, knowledgeable, polite, personable, thorough, and actually listened, asking clarifying questions, as we explained what was occurring.
Caleb was the Territory Manager who worked with us to identify a potential solution. He offered different options and demonstrated great patience in answering my many questions.
When we landed on the best fit, he ensured we understood the components of the project, the estimated costs, warranties, and schedule. He also worked to get the best price possible, which was important to us. He coordinated the teams with precision, letting us know who we would see next and what their roles would be. He kept in touch with us by phone and text from start to finish.
Neil and Caleb worked together on the final design. Neil, too, was professional, kind, and approachable. He listened closely, and he was thoughtful and thorough in ensuring the design would address all of our concerns.
Gage, Hunter, and Kit were the primary members of the installation team. The team was on time, very professional and polite. Their teamwork was impeccable as they worked diligently throughout their time here and respectfully discussed with one another the best way to solve the tricky tasks. They kept us apprised of status, answering any questions we had. They were respectful of our home and belongings and they cleaned up the area before leaving for the day.
I would like to stress to the entire Air Force team that it's not "just a job". What you do matters and you matter, too! For many of us these are major purchases which require us to shift other needs around to absorb the costs. It's important that you bring your best game, just like this team has done.
You will notice the common themes from our experience noted above are professionalism, kindness, good communication skills, teamwork, solutions that work, and care for the customer.
Also remarkable is the positive attitude demonstrated by everyone we have dealt with so far.
To think all of this began because someone cared enough to truly listen and understand.
It has been quite refreshing!

Derreck was amazing. He worked till he got our air going. The whole experience with Air Force was great. The scheduling was easy and they were out here the same day. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
